Traditional Black soap is made from the ash of harvested plants and peels such as palm tree leaves, shea tree bark, plantain skin & cocoa pods. The combination of nutrient-rich ingredients adds moisture to the epidermis (outer layer of skin) & reduces inflammation. It is used to cleanse impurities and soothe problematic skin.

Known to suppress eczema flare ups, combat acne, ease inflammation & target a variety of other skin conditions. The US National Library of Medicine conducted a study that identified cocoa pods as a key ingredient that inhibits the tyrosinase activity, meaning it helps improve the appearance of scarred/uneven skin.
